Is Yaradua Really Happy With The Judiciary?

In his keynote speech at last week’s conference of judges, President Umaru Yar’Adua had advised the judiciary “to shun the temptation of basing their judgments on popular sentiments,”and to avoid “playing to the gallery.”

This statement is generating a lot of reactions form different quarters. Some belief this statement is a way of intimidating the judiciary.

If the president intention is really to intimidate the judiciary then we can say he is probably afraid that the election tribunal might declare his own election null and void. he wouldn't want to to dig his grave, would he?
