Rigging Elections seam to be Yar'dua's worst nightmare. He is assuring Nigerians that the election of PDP party executives will be free and fair. I really want to believe this guy. lets just wait and see.

"The January 5, 2008 National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be free, fair and devoid of rigging, President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua has assured.

Receiving former Senate President, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, who is an aspirant to the party's national chairmanship position, in his office, Plateau State Governor, Jonah David Jang, said: "President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua has assured that there will be free and fair democratic election on January 5, 2008 when the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP holds its national convention, to elect new party officials."
