I'm not afraid of EFCC— Orji Kalu - Vanguard

ABUJA—Former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, yesterday, declared that he was not afraid of the Economic and financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) because he had nothing to hide and would use the judicial process to defend his name.
Speaking with State House correspondents after meeting with President Umaru Yar'Adua, Kalu said from the way the president had carried on so far, there was hope that Nigerians would not be harrassed.

He said he had always regarded the president as his elder brother, adding that since they both had traditional titles from the Katsina emirate, there must be something binding the two of them. He however added that his visit to the president had nothing to do with his case at the EFCC, pointing out that he only came to the presidential Villa to discuss with the president on how to move the country forward.
