The family of the late Golden Eaglets coach, Yemi Tella, has expressed gratitude at the way President Umaru Yar’Adua and the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, stood by the family before and after the coach passed on.
Speaking on behalf of the Tella family in Lagos, Tella’s daughter, Adepeju, said the care showed by the pair of Yar’Adua and Fashola touched the hearts of the entire members of the Tella family.
She said, “They stood solidly by us during our trying times and we cannot thank them enough. They supported the family when my father was ill and have continued to help us. We also give glory to God, who has been the comfort and hope for the family.” Full Story
